Mary Pennell Welch

Mary Pennell Welch, 62, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Bermuda Commons. She was born in Forsyth County on August 20, 1953 to the late Lindsay Hall and June Weaver Pennell. Mary worked for Royal Cake for 30 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Surviving is a son, Shane Welch and wife, Lauren; three grandchildren, Braeden, Mya, and Allyson Welch; four sisters, Marie Blanton, Patricia Pennell, Alice Lambeth, and Susie Pennell. Also surviving is a niece, Sherry Blanton; a nephew, Mike Blanton and wife Tonya; two great-nephews, Zane Fritts and Trevor Blanton and a great-niece, Sydney Blanton. A memorial service will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church.
