Mary Alice Webster

Mary Alice Hall Webster, 79, of Germanton NC passed away peacefully on July 24, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born July 7, 1945, to Fredrick Spencer Hall and Wynona Wall Hall in Christiansburg VA where she grew up most of her young life until she met and married the love of her life, Dick Webster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rachel Dodson and son, Rick Webster. Mary Alice is survived by her husband, Dick Webster, her brother Spencer Hall (Kathy), her children; David Whitlock (Linda), Katie Dodson, Linda Bush, James Hewett (Debra) and Janet White, three grandchildren; Justin Dodson, Weston Whitlock (Elicia), and Emma Whitlock, two great-grandchildren, and many other loved ones. Mary Alice had a love and smile for everyone along with a ‘Bless your heart’ for those who needed it. The world lost a precious lady and heaven gained a beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to have known her. A funeral service will be conducted 12 noon Saturday July 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church Stanleyville with Rev. Dr. Vigil G. Dwyer and Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the First Baptist Church Sanctuary.
