Mary Libes Weatherman

Mrs. Mary Libes Weatherman of Clemmons passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 30, 1922 in Winston-Salem to Ary Houston and Annie Agee Libes. Mrs. Weatherman retired from Western Electric in 1977 after 23 years of service. She was an active member of Clemmons Moravian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Martha Gordon and Ruby Vogler; and a brother, Allen Libes. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Hugh Weatherman; one daughter, April Weatherman of the home; one sister, Elsie Boyer of Georgia; four nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18 at Clemmons Moravian Church with the Rev. Q. Ray Burke, and the Rev. G. Thomas Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Building Fund, Clemmons Moravian Church, 3560 Spangenburg Ave., Clemmons, NC 27012. The family would like to thank the staff of Kate B.
