Mary Fearrington Watson

Mary Fearrington Watson passed peacefully on December 26, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was 87 years old. Mary graduated from Old Town High School. She worked for Quality Oil and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Having spent all her life in Lewisville, she met Odell at a young age. They met at Shiloh Lutheran Church and continued to attend through their married life. She and Odell were married for 66 years and they were almost always together. She loved being a housewife and making beautiful crafts to decorate their home. Once Odell passed she never fully accepted or recovered from the loss of her loving husband, she often commented that he was her whole life and she only longed to be with him once again. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Corbit and Beatrice Bovender Fearrington; one brother, Walter S. ""Kit"" Fearrington; and her poodle, Pom Pom. The family would like to thank Trinity Elms and their staff for being so kind and providing such loving care to make her as comfortable as possible. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Lutheran Church, 703 Lewisville Vienna Rd, Lewisville, NC 27023. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, December, 28, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Shiloh Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
