Mary Pauline Watson

Mrs. Pauline Eaton Watson, 94, went to be with the Lord, June 28, 2017. She was born August 1, 1922 in Forsyth County to the late Noble Casper Eaton and Carrie Landreth Eaton. Pauline was a devoted Christian and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville. She taught Beginner's Sunday School Class, worked in Bible School, and was in charge of the Christmas programs for many years. In addition she served as the program chairman for the Senior Bible Club for as long as her health allowed. She retired from Adams-Millis Co. in 1978 with 15 years of service. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Cecil E. Watson; parents, and three brothers, George, David, and Tom Eaton; three sisters, Margie, Vera, and Jewel Eaton. She is survived by one sister, Nealie Watson; one special niece and her husband, Ruth Ann Greene (Jerry), and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville in Winston-Salem with Pastor Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. The family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff of Village Care of King for their love and care. They are also appreciative for all who visited, sent cards, flowers, and food for the last six years. In addition, a special sincere gratitude for those at Kate B.
