Mary Katherine Deaner Tucker

Winston-Salem- Mary Katherine Tucker, 81, died on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at home after years of declining health. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Payton Tucker. Surviving is her daughter, Pat King and her husband Charles. She also leaves behind a brother-in-law L.C. Tucker and wife Juanita of East Bend and a special ""Sis"" Thelma Boyd of Clemmons. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as lots of friends who loved her very much. Mary will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, on January 21, 2009 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Gary Byrum officiating. Pat and Charles will be receiving friends and family at their home in Clemmons. The family would like to send special thanks to the wonderful staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and the many in home care staff who attended to our Mom, especially her nurse, Debbie Foltz, who showed such kindness and compassion to her.
