Mary Evelyn Tuttle Sudderth

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Tuttle Sudderth, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Sudderth was born in Caldwell County on August 2, 1919 to Robert Columbus Tuttle and Caroline Kirby Tuttle. She was a member of Konnoak Baptist Church and retired from Sears and Roebuck Company. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert William Sudderth; and an infant son, Robert Duane Sudderth. Surviving are two sons, Tom Sudderth and wife Wilda of Lewisville, and David Sudderth and wife Robin of Yadkinville; four grandchildren, Tim Sudderth and wife Stephanie of Charlotte, Rhonda Tiddy and husband Kevin of Lewisville, Haley and Erika Sudderth, both of Yadkinville; and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, February 11, 2013 at Konnoak Baptist Church with Rev. John Bishop officiating. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm Monday, at Yadkin Baptist Church, 2044 Roby Martin Rd., Lenoir, NC. The family will receive friends from 5 -7 p.m. Sunday evening at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
