Mrs. Mary ""Jane"" Kirby Snider, 83, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Springwood Care. She was born September 3, 1928, in Rural Hall to Richard Lee and Norma Martha Dowell Kirby. After several years of employment with Wachovia Bank, Mrs. Snider became a full-time homemaker. She was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church and presently a member of Kerwin Baptist Church in Kernersville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G.E. Snider in 2009. Surviving are one son, Mark Snider and wife Mary of Big Lake, MN; one daughter, Deborah Long and husband Randy of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Teresa Kite and husband Brian, Paul Snider and wife Patricia, Randy Burchfield and wife Sarah; eight great grandchildren, Rachel, Cadie, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jacob, Emma, Lane, and Marianne. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 28 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Mark Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Waughtown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joni and Friends International Disability Center, P.O.
