Mary Small

WINSTON-SALEM – Mary Ruth Taylor Small, 75, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mary was born on May 21, 1943 in Swain County to Ottis and Arizona Styles Taylor. She was a member of Amity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Thomas Small; two children, Mary Culler and Lee Small; a grandchild, Breanna;  two sisters, Irene and Jewel.

Surviving are her children, Joey Culler (Angel), Duane Culler, Lisa Bailey (Eddie), Bryce Culler (Victoria) and Linda Burrow (Shawn); 11 grandchildren, Noah, Alyssa, Morgan, Audrey, Ashley, Chris, Brittany, Brandon, Krystan, Daniel and Shelby; 6 great grandchildren, Kinsey, Danny, Logan, Lucy, Lillian, and Andrew.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Friday, September 21, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
