Mary Hester Sawyer

WINSTON-SALEM - Mary Hester Sawyer, 80, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mary was born on May 10, 1931 in Forsyth Co. to the late Zeb & Lula Hester. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, James W. Sawyer and many siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Sawyer daughters Carol Darrah & Tim, Bonnie Wilson & Jimmy and Pat ""Diane"" Sawyer; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Aaron Hester. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens - Mausoleum Chapel. We love you, Mother.
