Mary Marcelene Crotts Robbins, 85, of Winston-Salem was called home to her Lord and Savior on May 14th, 2018. She was born August 31, 1932 in Randolph County to the late Lula Mae and C. Clarence Crotts. She was an active member of Friedland Moravian Church teaching the Primary Sunday School class for more than 40 years. Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Women's Fellowship and lovingly supported many areas of ministry within her church community. In her early life as a wife and mother she enjoyed being a Cub Scout Leader and homemaker while nurturing her love of sewing, music, and flower gardening in her children and grandchildren. Before raising her family, Mrs. Robbins worked for Hanes Hosiery followed by a fulfilling career at Bo-Ty Florist later in life. In recent years, she received her biggest blessing by volunteering at Sunnyside Ministries where she enjoyed helping others in need. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie A. Robbins, Jr., brothers, "Chick" and Bobby Crotts of High Point. She is survived by her son, Eric D. Robbins of Huntersville, daughter, Alicia (Randy) McMillon, and grandchildren, Ryan and Mary Lauren of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 18th at Friedland Moravian Church with Rev. Carol Foltz and Rev. Wayne Byerly officiating. Burial will follow at the church graveyard. The family will receive friends at a reception following the burial in the Fellowship Hall. Memorials may be sent to Friedland Moravian Church or Sunnyside Ministries of the Moravian Church.
