Mary Safrit Perry

Mrs. Mary Safrit Perry of Clemmons, passed away Monday, February 14, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Perry was born on September 16, 1924 in Montgomery County to Harvey Wilson and Bessie May Blake Safrit. She worked as an Executive Assistant for Southeast Mortgage. Mrs. Perry was a member of Clemmons United Methodist Church where she enjoyed taking part in the Golden Needles Club and Crusaders Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Abbott Perry; a brother, and two sisters. Mrs. Perry is survived by a sister Patricia Koeval of Advance; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 3:30 PM Friday, February 18, 2011 at Clemmons United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Portis officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the church. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Sharon Cemetery in Mt. Gilead, NC with Rev.
