Mary Elizabeth Motsinger Pardue

KERNERSVILLE - Mary Elizabeth Motsinger Pardue, 95, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Bradford Village West. She was born April 1, 1917 in Forsyth Co. to the late Lewis Addison and Mary Alice Weavil Motsinger. Mary was a lifelong member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church where she taught the Children's Sunday School Class for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Glenn Pardue; two brothers, Joshua and Wesley Motsinger; and one great-grandson, Cameron Michael Pardue. Surviving are her son, Luther Eugene Pardue and wife, Gerri of Kernersville; two grandchildren, Crystal Pardue Harris and husband, Todd, Michael Eugene Pardue and wife, Kimberly; and four great-grandchildren, Trinity Nicole Harris, Tyler Chase Harris, Madilyn Joan Pardue, and Carly Elizabeth Pardue all of Kernersville. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Dr. Bonnie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1018 Piney Grove Rd., Kernersville, NC 27284 or Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103.
