Mary Willard Nail

Mrs. Mary Willard Nail, 94, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Brookridge. She was born November 28, 1914 in Forsyth County to the late Wallace and Pearl Hudson Willard. Mrs. Nail was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years at Ogburn Memorial United Methodist Church and later became a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Rural Hall. Her husband, Thomas Clayton Nail preceded her in death. Surviving is a daughter, Carroll N. Williams and husband Charles of Winston-Salem; one grandson, Mark Williams and wife Laura of Lewisville; two great-grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Williams and Andrew Madison Williams II; one sister-in-law, Irene Willard and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2009 at Faith United Methodist Church in Rural Hall by Rev. Evelyn Lemons. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel in Advance.
