Mary Lou Miller Myers

Winston-Salem- Mrs. Mary Lou Miller Myers, 72, passed away May 10, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1938 in Forsyth County to the late George Wesley Miller and Della Painter Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Myers, a grandson, Jason Scott Hoyle, and a sister, Corina Martin Hall. Mrs. Myers was a former member of Elon Baptist Church and will always be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her three children, D. Keith Myers, Ronnie D. Myers, and Susan Dawn Myers, all of Wallburg; five grandchildren, Angela Lowry and husband Wes, Justin ""Ray"" Hoyle, Christopher Lee Myers, Wesley Shane Myers, and Matthew Shay Myers; a great-granddaughter, Madeline ""Maddie"" Lowry; a sister, Trudy Jordan and husband Wayne; two brothers, Clyde Miller and wife Peggy, and Paul Miller and wife Bits; her loving four legged companion, Heidi. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 13, 2011 at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
