WINSTON-SALEM - Mrs. Mary Angelene (""Angie"") Davis Moxley passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 3, 1929 in Yadkin County to the late William Vance Davis and Gerthie Johnson Davis. She was a sweet, compassionate woman who was full of smiles. Her greatest concern in life was to witness for Christ. She lovingly touched the lives of many in her role as a pastor's wife and counselor. Mrs. Moxley was loved by her family and all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moxley was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Mickles and a grandson, Samuel Ramos. Surviving are her devoted husband, Dr. John Moxley; son, David Moxley (Debbie) of Rural Hall; two daughters, Debbie Gfeller (Rick) of Winston-Salem and Diane Ramos (Mario) of Clemmons; seven grandchildren (Matt Gfeller, Angie Weaver, Andrew Ramos, Hannah Poole, Nathan Gfeller, Aaron Moxley, and Melanie Ramos); three great-grandchildren (Eden Gfeller, Adam Weaver and Silas Moxley); and brother, Ralph Davis (Rosanne) of Lewisville. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, October 4 at Woodland Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Gammons, the Rev. Mike Mann and Dr. John Moxley officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 3, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall.
