Mrs. Mary Eugenia Tuttle Moser, age 97, went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2018 at her residence. She was born on January 31, 1921 in Stokes County to the late William Edwin Tuttle and Luella Jane Moser Tuttle. She lived a full life and was a blessing and inspiration to all those who knew her. As a young military wife, she supported her husband who served in the United States Navy during WWII. She continued to support the military by being a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mary loved her church and was a lifetime member of Poplar Springs Church of Christ. She was a dedicated advocate for international and local missions through her work with the Ladies Missionary Society of Poplar Springs Church of Christ. Mary loved her family and really enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren and watching them at their ballgames. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all, and will dearly be missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, C.R. Moser, Jr.; one daughter, Belinda Luella Moser; two sisters, three brothers; and one son-in-law, Andrew G. Lynch. She is survived by one daughter, Eugenia Moser Lynch; four grandchildren, Jane Evans (Scott), Jan Barr (David), Drewann Lynch, Ellen Lynch; five great-grandchildren, Joel Barr, Samuel Evans, Kate Evans, Rachel Evans, and Ethan Lynch; one sister, Louise Hepler, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Poplar Springs Church of Christ with Chuck Bower, Senior Minister, Don Wallace, Associate Minister, and Zach Hollifield, Student Minister officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Poplar Springs Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Missions Fund, Poplar Springs Church of Christ, 7120 NC 66 Hwy S., King, NC, 27021. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the special care given by Community Home Care and Hospice for Mary during her illness. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
