Mary Moore

Walkertown – Ms. Mary “Linda” Aycoth Moore, 78, peacefully entered into the presence of her Savior on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1942 in Forsyth County to George Otis and Minnie Snow Aycoth. Linda was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, and had also been attending in recent years Morris Chapel United Methodist Church in Walkertown. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She retired from Horizons Residential Care Center and in later years dedicated herself as a loving caregiver. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Marlyn Cornatzer. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Moore Butler (husband, Chad); one sister, Peggy Smith (husband, Nathan); one brother, Hermon Aycoth; one grandson, Ethan Butler; and one granddaughter, Ashlyn Butler. A graveside service for Linda will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Pastor Jeff Coppley and Samantha Wesley officiating. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
