Mary Millsaps

Mary Kathleen Ladd Millsaps, 91, known to her family and friends as “Kat” of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Forsyth County to the late Turner Ladd and Fuchsia Ratledge Ladd on March 12, 1932.

Kathleen enjoyed collecting recipes and cooking, she took pride in her dishes especially her fried apple pies. She enjoyed feeding birds and listening to music. Kathleen loved her family and being with them, she will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Millsaps; sisters, Barbara McNeal, and Eva Meadows; brother, Leslie Ladd.

She is survived by a daughter, Melinda Craine (Robert); son, Dennis Millsaps (Susan); grandchildren, Jodie, Jessica, Monica and Chris; great grandchildren, Hailey, Gavin, Caleb, Kiara and Kensley; sister, Carol Holt (Charles) and many nieces and nephews.
