Mary Ann Waters Miller

Kernersville - Mary Ann Miller, 76, of Kernersville, passed away January 16, 2009, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. Ann was born on September 21, 1932 in Rutherford County, NC, to the late Charles Alexander and Mallie Matheny Waters. Mary Ann was totally devoted to her family and loved flowers. She loved her dog, Tinker and cat, Lola. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Glenn Miller, and son, Terry Wayne Miller. She is survived by a son, Andy Miller; a daughter, Cheryl Miller Whittington (Robin BonFiglio); grandchildren, Christina Whittington, Stacy Whittington (Jason), and Matthew Whittington; two brothers, John Waters (Alma), and William Waters, two sisters, Louise Waters and Joyce Thomas (Eddie); and children by marriage, Shelby & Rodney Bradham, Ben & Susan Miller, Jerry & Shannon Miller and Donnie & Kay Miller. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church in Kernersville with Rev. Ellis Rouse and Rev. Phil Bauguess officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday, January 19, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home Kernersville Chapel.
