Mary Louise Dunn Martin

Proverbs 31:29 Many daughters have done virtuously but thou excellest them all. Mary Louise Dunn Martin, 82 of Winston-Salem went to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 2, 1927 in Davie County to Sam T. and Mary Foster Dunn. She was one of six children. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clyde William Martin to whom she was married for over 60 years; a son, Timothy William Martin and three brothers, Reno, Loy and S.T. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior. Her strong faith in God, devotion to her family and her loving smile: Priceless Treasures - Precious Memories. Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Forrest and Mrs. Helen Jarvis; three special nieces, Mrs. Joan Brown, Mrs. Karen Mayes and Mrs. Kathy Coble and other nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Don Hacket officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
