Mary Teague

Mrs. Mary Martha Slack Teague, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mary was born in Hunt County Texas to the late William Anderson Slack and Bertha Dawson Slack on March 31, 1929. Mary retired from Tanglewood Park after many, many years of service as an office Supervisor. She was a longtime member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Mary loved being with family especially her grand and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Phil Teague; four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her husband, Maynard Teague; son, Dean Teague, and wife Denise; grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Zaine (Larissa) and Sean; great grandchildren, Coy, Chloe, Aiden and Emerson; daughter-in-law, Renee’ Teague and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 8, 2022, at Parklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Mary Miller officiating.
