Mrs. Mary Fearrington Mann, 96, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born in Forsyth County on December 29, 1924 to the late Baxter and Artie Dull Fearrington.  Mrs. Mann was a lifelong resident of Lewisville and a lifelong member at Shiloh Lutheran Church.  She was a veteran of the U.S. Army-W.A.C.  She was a nurse at Walter Reed Army Hospital where she met and married her husband, Chester.  Mrs. Mann truly enjoyed her vegetable garden and her flowers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A. Mann of 48 years; daughter, Brenda Harper Jones; grandson, Chad Harper; two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Fearrington and a sister, Alice Stevens.  Surviving is a son, Richard Mann (Cindy); five grandchildren, Kyle Harper (Sara), Kym Styers (Gary), Lauren Dalton (Travis), Leslie Bowman (Gary), and Heather Barksdale (Josh); also surviving are nine great-grandchildren and a son-in-law, John Jones.  A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Shiloh Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. John Beeg officiating.  Mrs. Mann had resided at Vienna Village for this past year and the family would like to thank the Lowe family and staff for her excellent care.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Lutheran Church, 703 Lewisville-Vienna Rd., Lewisville, NC 27023.
