Mary Wilson

Mrs. Mary Lou Marion Wilson, 78, went to her forever home Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital. She was born June 20, 1944, in Surry County to the late Hubert Marion and Dotsie Ann Heath Marion. Mary Lou loved going to the beach and fishing at Kure Beach. She also enjoyed fishing at Joe’s Fish Lake. She attended Old Siloam Friends Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Millard “Mick” Wilson, a daughter, Tammy Michelle Wilson Pike and a brother, Hassel Ray Marion. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Savanah Mikels and Kayla and Heather Pike, two siblings, Verlie Davis, and Wayne Marion; a fur grandbaby, Titan Dallas Pike, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Skyline Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mount Airy, NC, 27030 or donor’s choice.
