Mary Ellen Harman Lewellyn

Mrs. Mary Ellen Harman Lewellyn, 82, passed away June 20, 2015 at her home. She was born January 30, 1933 in Welch, WV to the late Robert Lee Harman and Vera Grace Hagy Harman. She was a member of Griffith Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and lead Bible studies. Mrs. Lewellyn was a graduate of Welch High School and the University of Virginia. She was passionate about her profession in medical technology. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mack Lewellyn on April19, 2015. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and a twin sister. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Randolph and husband Mark; Catherine Disher and husband William; two step children, Cindy Lewellyn Kozerow and husband Kevin; Mack Lewellyn and wife Holly; five grandchildren, Mary Katherine Maxey Peninger and husband Daniel, Julian Maxey, Brodie Maxey, Madison Disher, and Carleigh Disher; four step grandchildren, Josh Kozerow, Carissa Kozerow, Emilyne Lewellyn, and Joshua Lewellyn; two sisters, Hope Watson and husband Richard; and Dr. Jean Watson; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 26, 2015 at Griffith Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Vaughan and the Rev. Tony Brown officiating. Inurnment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
