Mary Kiser

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Kiser, 85, of Walnut Cove, NC, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Village Care of King.  Mary was born in Russell County, VA on February 16, 1937, to the late Walter Roosevelt Keith and Maude Jessie Keith.  She was of the Baptist faith and cherished making a loving home for her family.  Mary enjoyed cooking, crafts, puzzles, and playing bingo.  She loved working in her yard and flower gardens.  In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Cooper Kiser; two brothers, three sisters and all her loving Kiser family in-laws who treated her as one of their own.  She is survived by her children, Ron Kiser and wife, Cherry of Winston-Salem and Nadine Kiser and special daughter, Anita of Kernersville.  In honoring Mary’s wishes, there will be no formal services.  She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends and will remain forever in their hearts.  The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Walnut Ridge Assisted Living and Hospice of Stokes County for the compassionate care they provided to Mary.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the resident’s trust donations department at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living, 411 Windmill St., Walnut Cove, NC 27052.  Please specify the “Resident’s Trust Donations Department” on your check.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family of Mrs. Kiser.
