Mary Wilson King

Mrs. Mary Wilson King, 84, of Germanton passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Village Care of King. She was born September 15, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Cora Griffin Wilson and William Henry Wilson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, William Buegard King; one granddaughter, Kimberly King; three brothers, John, Elwood and Sam Wilson; and one sister, Christine Hill. Surviving are three daughters, Deborah King of Germanton, Linda Wilkenson (J.R.) of Pfafftown and Carolyn Perryman of Stanleyville; two sons, Billy King of Elkin and Joseph King of Winston-Salem; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one sister, Minnie Lou Boger of Raleigh; and one sister-in-law, Clara Weaver of Winston-Salem. A Graveside Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 at Crestview Memorial Park with Chaplain Robbie Vance officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, PO Box 863, Walnut Cove, NC 27052. (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel)
