Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Johnson Keziah, 91, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 15, 1918 in Forsyth County to John and Ada H. Hartman. Mrs. Keziah was a member of Waughtown Baptist Church, and was retired from Hanes Knitting. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Lee Keziah; three brothers, Raymond, Johnny, and James N. Johnson; and two sisters, Irene Johnson and Betty H. Godfrey. Surviving is one daughter, Berneater ""Bee"" Mendenhall and husband Dennis; one grandson, Derek Mendenhall, all of Winston-Salem; one brother, William Johnson of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2 at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
