Mary Hepler Keiger

Mrs. Mary Hepler Keiger, 78, of Clemmons, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Mallard Ridge. She was born May 19, 1933 in Forsyth County to Joe Edgar and Sadie Ingram Hepler. Mrs. Keiger was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was retired from Stroh's Brewery with 22 years of service. She enjoyed traveling to Nashville for the fan fair each year and visiting all her country western friends. She was a member of Teamsters Local 391. Mrs. Keiger was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Wesley Keiger. Surviving are one son, Gene Keiger of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Joey Keiger (Jandelyn), and Misty Mabe; four great grandchildren, Madison and Dalton Mabe, Jake and Chelsea Keiger. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Don A. Murray officiating. Entombment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 13 at the funeral home.
