Mary Jane Hubbard Price

    Mrs. Mary Jane Hubbard Price, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on August 29, 1939, in Winston-Salem to the late Roby and Arizona Hubbard. Mary was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, especially bingo, and cooking for her family and friends. Mary also enjoyed going on cruises. Most of all, she loved visiting with family, friends, and fellow church members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Bernard Price, four brothers; John, Roby, Anthony, and Allen Hubbard, and three sisters; Lucille Carter, Evelyn Hubbard, and Lib Butler. Mary is survived by two daughters; Susan Tuttle (Diane) and Karen Ferguson, three sons; Bill Parker, Donnie Brown (Marie), and Wayne Brown (Crystal) and, five grandsons; Junior Tuttle (Olivia), Jack Tuttle (Amanda), Josh Parker (Jen), Nich Parker (Sarah), and Krystopher Rucker, two granddaughters; Christina Ruiz and Dakota Cheek (Andy), six great-grandchildren; Hannah Tuttle, Colt and Neveah Clewis, and Gordon, Eleanor, and Harry Parker, and one sister, Ora Bell Holden. A funeral service will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday July 1, 2023, at New Hope Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with Pastor Chuck Carver officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Friday in the church fellowship hall. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church 4911 Old Rural Hall Rd, Winston-Salem, NC.
