Mary Elizabeth Parks Hilton

Our loving mother Mary Elizabeth Parks Hilton, 74, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at her home. She was born July 26, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late Lindsey Marian and Lou Mittie Key Parks. She attended Victory Baptist Church and she was loved by all who met and knew her. Mrs. Hilton was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be missed by all. Preceding her in death was her husband, Lawrence ""Slick"" Hilton; two brothers, and a sister. Surviving are five children, Lawrence Hilton, Sheila Sherron (Danny), Jan Kidd (Walter), Tammy Plowman, and Chad Hilton (Jessica); nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; also surviving are four sisters, Ruby Hicks (Harold), Frankie James (Roger), Betty Billings, and Flossie Holder. A graveside service will be held 3:30 PM Monday, April 20, 2009 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
