Mary Goins Hauser

Mrs. Mary Goins Hauser, beloved Mom, Nanny, Nanny Darling, sister and friend, went to her heavenly home on July 21, 2013. She was born on June 20, 1927 to the late Monroe and Della Loggins Goins. Her life was her children, grandchildren and two very special in-laws she called her own, Betty Hauser and Billy R. Rollins. Although these were her pride and joy, she still had so much love to share with her family and friends. She was a Mom and Nanny to so many that were not her blood. Mary lived her life walking after Jesus and loving like Jesus. She retired from WSFC School Cafeteria with 32 years of service. She also worked at the Little Red Caboose. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Grayson Lee Shoun, brothers, James Goins and Alfred Goins and a son-in-law, John H. Harp. She is survived by a son, Harold Gray Hauser (Betty), daughters, Barbara Faye Fletcher (Gary), Mary Lou Harp and Laura Lee Rollins, grandchildren, Darren (Heather), Lisa, Christy and Susan (Daniel), great-grandchildren, Kayla, Maggie, Ellie, Bethany, Easton, Keegan and Khya. She is also survived by a sister, Mildred Darnell, brothers, Chester Goins (Pat) and Robert Goins (Theresa) and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Tobaccoville with Rev. Jenna Grogan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 this evening Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall and at other times at her home. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
