Mary Kaye Gwynn Hatcher

Ms. Mary Kaye Gwynn Hatcher, 67, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, after a period of declining health. She was born in Forsyth Co. on September 19, 1947 the daughter of the late Alonzo and Frances Gwynn. Mary Kaye retired from Hanes Brands with 30 years of service and was a tireless volunteer for the American Red Cross. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Mary Kaye is survived by her daughter; Jennifer Michelle Hatcher and husband J.T. Brown of King, her two grandchildren; William ""Tristan"" Jester and Emma Willow Brown and many special friends. At her request there will be no formal services. The family encourages that memorial donations be made to the American Red Cross in Mary Kaye's name at: American Red Cross, Western NC Division, 2425 Park Dr., Charlotte, NC 28203.
