Mary Ferrell Hatch

Mrs. Mary Ferrell Naumann Hatch, 88, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Salemtowne. She was born May 18, 1925 in Wood County, Ohio to John Luther and Lola Belle McCoy Ferrell. She was a member of Augsburg Lutheran Church and was retired from Huffman Brothers Stone and Marble Company in South Charleston, W. Virginia. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Lee Naumann and Henry Percy Hatch and by a sister, Helen Ferrell Norman. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Lou Leonard of Winston-Salem; a stepdaughter, Linda Kincaid of Cleveland, TN.; four grandchildren, Michael S. Kincaid, Benjamin Allen Leonard, Rebecca Leonard Kurland and Barry John Leonard; six great grandchildren; and a brother, John L. Ferrell (Pam) of New Bern. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Augsburg Lutheran Church with Rev Dr. Ronald A. Rinn officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Augsburg Lutheran Church, 845 W. Fifth Street, WS, N.C. 27101 or to Salemtowne, 1000 Salemtowne Dr., WS, N.C. 27106. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Salemtowne for their loving care these last years.
