Mary Jane Bumgardner Harrell

Mary Jane Bumgardner Harrell, 59, of Walkertown passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Mary was born February 19, 1958 in Forsyth County to Johnny Gabriel Bumgardner and Martha Jane Adams Colley. She worked for many years as an accountant for Hanes Hosiery and DXP Enterprises. In her free time, Mary enjoyed traveling and watching HGTV. Most of all, she loved people, especially children. Mary was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, Dale Colley, sister, Sharon Dean, brother, Johnny Bumgardner, Jr, mother in law, Margaret Harrell, and sister in law Wanda Harrell.

Mary is survived by her mother, Martha Colley; daughter, Jennifer Harrell; son, Robert Harrell; fiancee, Gene Johnson; brother, Tony Bumgardner and fiancée Jackie; aunt and uncle, Jean and Byron Tuttle; father in law, Carl Harrell; brother in law, Damey Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Gene's family who have taken in Mary as one of their own.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 2 - 4 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
