Mrs. Mary ""Jackie"" Crotts Goins, 80, of Winston-Salem died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at her home. She was born February 2, 1929 in Forsyth County, the daughter of the late John Roy and Mary Wagoner Crotts. Mrs. Goins was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church and retired from Bahnson Co. following 18 years of service. Following her retirement from Bahnson, she became a hairdresser and worked at J. C. Penny, The Anchor Store, Lamarichs and Salon I. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, James K. Crotts. Survivors include her husband, James Richard Goins of the home; two daughters, Rebecca Riggins and husband, David of Clemmons and Tommie Sue Hartman and husband, Henry Jr. of Advance; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, John R. Crotts of Kernersville and Jeff Crotts of Marietta, GA; one sister, Janet Pruitt and husband, Boyd of Yadkinville and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care Center and Gospel Light Baptist Church for the love and care shown to them and Mrs. Goins during this time.
