Mary Virginia East Fulk

Mrs. Mary Virginia East Fulk, age 93 of Rural Hall passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Salemtowne in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Fulk was born in Patrick County, VA May 3, 1920 to Sylvester Monroe and Mary Alpha Willard East. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Rural Hall and retired from the Rural Hall US Postal Service. Mrs. Fulk loved her church, family and friends and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents Mrs. Fulk was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Fulk, one son, Mike Fulk, two sisters and one brother. Mrs. Fulk is survived by two daughters: Sheran Thompson and Sandra Secrest both of Rural Hall. Six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. One brother, Ervin East of Winston-Salem and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Fulk will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Rural Hall by Rev. Linda Faltin. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
