Mary Ann Fleming

Mary Ann Fleming, 61, died on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mary Ann was born in Warren, Ohio on March 27, 1948 to Robert L. Fleming and Helen Bonham Fleming. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in Warren and attended Ohio University. In 1968 Mary Ann moved to Winston-Salem. She was a 35 year employee of US Airways, having started at Piedmont Airlines working as an International Reservation Agent. She is survived by her mother, her sister, Virginia Sidells and her brother-in-law Stuart Sidells of Berkeley, California, her niece Margaret Sidells, also of Berkeley, and her beloved cat Emily, as well as a host of close friends and co-workers. A celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held on 2:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association 222 S. Church St. Suite 336 M Charlotte, NC 28202, the American Heart Association 4217 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, VA 23060 or to the Forsyth Humane Society PO Box 15605 Winston-Salem, NC 27113.
