Mary Kiger

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Coley Kiger, 89, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019.  She was born April 13, 1930 in Forsyth County to the late Jeffrey and Cora Coley.  Mary loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener who loved flowers and birds.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Sollie Eugene Kiger; two sons, Jerry Kiger and Jimmy Kiger; grandson, Larry Eugene Kiger, Jr.; two brothers, Paul Coley and Howard Coley; and two sisters, Ethel Bostick and Lillie Teague.  Mary is survived by two daughters, Shirley Kiger and Diane Blankenship (Ronnie); two sons, Ronald Kiger (Lisa) and Larry Eugene Kiger, Sr.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two nieces.  A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 PM Thursday, December 5 at Rural Hall Memorial Park with Robin Zimmerman, Minister officiating.
