Mary Ann Earls

Mary Ann Ball Earls, 73, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was born April 1, 1943 in Forsyth County to Ralph Edmond Ball and Rosa Lee White Ball and was the second oldest of 4 children. She married Thomas Dewey (Buddy) Earls of Winston-Salem, NC on December 21, 1963. She retired from Jostens after 43 years of service. She attended Yadkin Valley Baptist Church in Advance, NC. She loved fishing with her brother, Larry Edmond Ball, and also loved animals, especially her dogs, Sugar and Cricket.
She is predeceased in death by her husband, Thomas Dewey (Buddy) Earls; and survived by her sister, June Ball Flynn of Clemmons, NC; her brother, Larry Edmond Ball of Advance, NC; her brother-in-law, Ken Byerly of Clemmons, NC; and her extended family of many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Betty Jean Ball Byerly of Clemmons, NC and her brother-in-law, James Ray Flynn of Clemmons, NC.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 12-1 pm at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home located at 3315 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, NC. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm officiated by her Pastor, Ronnie Craddock. Interment will be at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC.
The family would like to express a special thanks to her sister, June Flynn, for the wonderful care she received while living in her home for the past several months. Funeral services provided by Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC.
