Mary Dull

Mrs. Mary Ellen Harper Dull, 90, of Clemmons, NC, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2022, at Trinity Elms Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mary Ellen spent her life as an active member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ in Clemmons, NC. She enjoyed traveling and fishing at the coast with her beloved husband, Leroy. Mary Ellen found great pleasure in quilting and spending time with her family over a home-cooked meal.

Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her loving husband; Leroy Edward Dull, her 3 sisters; Barbara Hiatt, Leota Barringer, and Eva Sidden, and a brother; Max Harper.

Her surviving family members include her daughter; Gaye Dull (William) Carothers, son; Richard (Susan) Dull, brother; Gary (Rosie) Harper, 2 sisters-in-law; Nancy Cook and Judy Dull, 4 grandchildren; Ben (Alicia) Carothers, Anna (Brian) Tomlinson, Teodora Dull, and Monica Dull, 2 great-grandchildren; Aubrey Tomlinson and Avery Tomlinson, and many other special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held for Mary Ellen at Warners Chapel Church of Christ on Saturday March 5, 2022, at 11:00 AM with minister Kevin Rutherford officiating. A visitation will be held the night prior, March 4, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
