Mary Sears Cranfill

Mary Emily Sears Cranfill, 91, departed for her heavenly home on Saturday, February 4, 2012, after eight years of declining health at Oak Forest Health Care. Mary was born in Yadkin County, April 13, 1920 to the late Early Gray and Etta Davis Sears. She was preceded in death by brothers: Thurman, Early (Honey), Davis, Carl (Snook), Roy, Elwood, Billy and Jimmy. On December 20, 1941, Mary married Joseph M. Cranfill who preceded her in death May 20, 1982. Mary was retired from Hanes Hosiery after 37 years. Surviving is a daughter, Frances McGee (C.D.), Germanton; grandchildren, Nathan (Angie), Julie Wright (Jason); great-grandchildren, Ralee McGee, Nolan and Lukas Wright; siblings: Bonnie Wilkins, Dalton Sears, and Nina Mae Bryant. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 6, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Harold Venable officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Frances and C.
