Mary Elizabeth Yow Conrad

Ms. Mary Elizabeth Yow Conrad, 83, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Saturday, November 2011. Mary was born May 4, 1928 in Lewisville, NC to the late Elmer Gray and Sudie Hege Yow. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, and was loved by everyone she met, because of the kind, caring and loving person she was. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard Conrad. Surviving to cherish her memory, are, a daughter, Deborah Conrad Dalton of Clemmons, NC, three sons; Gary Conrad of Winston-Salem, Lenny Conrad of Pfafftown, NC, Mark Conrad of Missouri; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a brother, Odell Yow of Lewisville, two sisters, Virginia Yow Smith of Lewisville, and Barbara Yow Grubbs of Walkertown. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Sharon United Methodist Church by Rev. Greg Freeman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1315 Ashleybrook Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Conrad Family.
