Mary Nell Durham Chambers

KERNERSVILLE- Mrs. Mary Nell Durham Chambers, 75 died, Monday September 6, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1935 in Wilkes County to Conrad Glenn Durham and Nellie Stone Durham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Willie Chambers Survivors include her daughter; Sharon Bryan and husband Jim of Kernersville; her son Daryl Chambers of Wilmington; three sisters; Marjorie Whitley, Shirley Jones both of Kernersville and Nina Stone of Winston-Salem; one brother Harold Durham of Boise Idaho; three grandchildren; Daniel and Chelsey Bryan and Rachel Chambers. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday September 8, 2010 at Glenn View Baptist Church with Rev William Coleman officiating Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 1:30 PM at the Church. The family requests that memorials be made to the Glenn View Baptist Church building fund, 4275 Glenn Hi Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or The Boy Scouts of America, Old Hickory Council 6600 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27106-5058 Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
