Mary Cecile

Mrs. Mary Ruth Sapp Cecile, Age 81, of Rural Hall passed away on December 31st, 2020 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home after a two-year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born April 23, 1939 in Germanton, NC to the late Walter and Mattie Sapp. Mary Ruth was a beloved mother of three, grandmother of four, and a great grandmother of five. Mary Ruth was known for her love and faith in Jesus Christ. You could find her at Rural Hall Church of Christ every Sunday. She also loved family and would talk to anyone. She will be greatly missed. Mary Ruth is survived by her three children Jeff Tucker (Wife, Dana), Tammy Tucker, and Ronnie Cecile (Wife, Jennifer). She was preceded in death by husband of 10 years, Reece Theodore Cecile, brother Roy Sapp, and sister Brenda Sapp Lutz. A public graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm at Bannertown Baptist Church, 2300 Bannertown Church Rd, Germanton, NC.
