Mary Ellen Cole Castle

Kernersville - Mary Ellen Cole Castle, 77, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 13, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1931 to the late Nannie Hicks Cole and John Wesley Cole. In addition to her parents Mrs. Castle was preceded in death by her husband Mr. James Otto Castle and a brother George Cole of Coeburn, Va. Surviving are two sons Jimmy Castle and wife Pat and Homer Castle and wife Polly all of Kernersville, one sister Jean Cole of Clintwood, Va. and a brother Bill Cole of Coeburn, Va., seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday March 17, 2009 at House of Prayer Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlee Stallard and Rev. Roger Motsinger officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
