Mary E. "Libby" Branch

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth ""Libby"" Hartley Branch, 84, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Libby was born October 12, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Jess and Sadie Hartley. She enjoyed cooking and looking after her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales searching for antiques. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, M.B. Branch.

Libby is survived by her daughters, Susan Dian Branch and Bonnie Hill and husband Tommy; sons, Michael Branch and wife Susan, David Branch, and Bobby Branch and wife Joyce; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Libby's life will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Chris Byrne officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 7 - 9 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
