Mrs. Mary Lou (Boovey) Bost, 76, of Lexington went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Iredell County to the late Charles and Clara (Beaver) Boovey on July 20, 1932. Mrs. Bost is survived by her loving husband, Johnny C. Bost of Lexington; three sons, Dennis Bost and wife Paula of Lewisville, Tim Bost and wife Carol of Lexington, and Howard Bost and wife Diana of Rural Hall; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister Martha (Boovey) Fox of Statesville, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mary Lou was widely known as a prayer warrior and special friend. She truly exemplified Christ, and demonstrated a selfless love to all she came to meet. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Winston-Salem First with the Rev. Carl Miller, and Bishop J.C. Hash officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller- Silas Creek Chapel.
