Mary Robbins Boggs

Mrs. Mary Robbins Boggs, 73, passed away Sunday evening at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Marion County, Alabama on January 5, 1944 to the late Mack and Opal Robbins. Mary was a member of King Christian Center and retired from Bowman Gray School of Medicine and Wake Forest Family Physicians. She was preceded by her husband C.H. Boggs, whom she married on December 15, 1958; a brother ""Sonny"" Robbins; and special pet Sissy Boggs. Mary is survived by children Tammy Boggs and the Twins, Randy Boggs (Lynn) and Sandra Dee Boggs; granddaughter Danielle Bre Anderson (Shawn); grandson Brandon Boggs-Hiatt (Alyson); great granddaughters Haley Gross, Abigail Boggs-Hiatt, and Morgan Boggs-Hiatt; great grandson Deacon Boggs-Hiatt; two sisters Glenna Robbins Little and Vicki Robbins Bullard; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday March 17, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Bobby Jenkins, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care, Meals on Wheels, and Gentiva Home HealthCare, for their love, support, and care for Mary.
