Mary Ruth Landreth Bell

LexingtonMary Ruth Landreth Bell, 86, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Lexington Health Care. She was born October 4, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late John and Edna Myers Landreth. Mrs. Bell was a member of Canaan United Methodist Church and was a lifelong member of the Canaan United Methodist Women's Group. Preceding her in death was her husband, Daniel Bell; two grandchildren, Zachary and Sabrina and a sister, Helen Landreth. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Locklear of Winston-Salem and Vicky Bell of Lexington; son, Keith Bell of Lexington; five grandchildren, Chris, Billy, Melinda, Madison, and Brandon; five great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Andrew, Dominic, Brooklyn, and Kyle; sister, Johnsie Berrier and husband Clifton; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Canaan United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
